What we collect, why, and who can see it. Effective September 29, 2026.
Lucky Little Riders LLC runs a riding lesson program in Thousand Oaks, California. This policy covers luckylittleriders.com and the rider portal.
Your name, email, phone, and address. Your riders’ names and dates of birth. Your booking and payment history. Emergency contacts and the person allowed to pick up a child. Insurance information, if you choose to give it. Health notes, if you choose to give them, such as allergies, medications to keep on site, and conditions an instructor needs to know before matching a horse.
We never ask for a Social Security number. The insurance member ID is always optional.
Health notes are used for three things only: to match your rider with a suitable horse, to run the lesson safely, and to brief emergency medical services if a rider is hurt.
Health notes are visible only to the people who run the rides. In an emergency, we share them with EMS and the receiving hospital. We never put a child’s health information in a public caption, post, or email.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our site.
We use photos and video of riders only if you accept the optional photo release, Instrument D of the rider packet. You can withdraw that release going forward at any time by emailing luckylittleriders@gmail.com.
A parent or guardian creates and controls any rider profile for a child. No child under 13 operates a login.
We keep accident records and booking records for as long as our insurer or the law requires. We delete or de-identify the rest of your account data within two years after your account closes.
Email luckylittleriders@gmail.com to correct your information or to ask us to delete account data we are not required to keep.
If medical or health insurance information is acquired by someone who should not have it, we will notify you as California law requires.
